ABOUT US

We are a CAD Draughting company & 3D rendering specialists based in Parklands, Cape Town. We opened our doors in 2016 and have been moving forward ever since.

​Our goal is to become your one stop shop. We want to grow into a group where you can come to us and we will take you from designs through to construction. Our aim is to close the gap where you have to approach several companies to accomplish your dream house, and just come to MADCAD and we will have it all.

We will help you from design stage through to construction. We will do all your submission drawings and calculations needed to get your plans approved by the local authorities, and ready for construction
We can take you through the process of having that extra room built or removing some walls and windows, we can assist with creating municipal plans and submit them to your local authorities for approval

SHOP DRAWINGS

3D DRAWINGS
Our mechanical design department can assist you with creation of your shop drawings and make the ready for construction.We can assist you with the following:
  • Paper to CAD conversion
  • First or Third orthographic drawings
  • Full section drawings
  • Half section drawings
  • Fully dimensioned drawings for construction
  • B.O.M (Bill Of Materials) with your developments
  • Sheet metal developments
​For a more visual presentation of your product our team can help you with a smile. We can do the following:
  • Complete 3D assembly drawings
  • 3D photorealistic renderings
  • Motion for mechanical parts
when do you need to hand in plans to your local authorities?
As per the national building regulations it states the following: "No person shall without the prior approval in writing of the local authority in question, erect any building in respect of which plans and specifications are to be drawn and submitted in terms of this Act"
when do you not submit plans?
When you are doing minor building works and temporary buildings. You don't need to submit plans, but you  DO need permission to build from your local authority. click here to see the definition of minor building work.
